We have a requirement for multiple Skilled Laborers to join our Field Operations team. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing various tasks on our project crews to support mechanical and civil operations. This role will be based out of Port Alberni at 5600 Shoemaker Bay Road, one of our project sites.

Tritech Group ( is a leader in the water infrastructure industry in Western Canada. Tritech designs and builds water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations and has the unique ability to complete the majority of project work in-house, with the resources and capacity to integrate multiple disciplines including, civil, process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation trades.

  • Perform various tasks on the labor crew to support mechanical/civil operations
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Assist heavy equipment operators with compaction, loading and moving of fill
  • Assist with pipe installation during mechanical/civil construction
  • Provide general clean up on worksite and in the shop
  • Be safety conscious and follow safety policies and procedures
  • Provide a safe work environment through continuous training and development 



  • Experience in construction or water/wastewater treatment industries
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Construction Safety Training Systems Certificate (CSTS)
  • First Aid Level 1 or 2
  • Confined Space Entry training is an asset
  • Traffic Control Person certification is an asset
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Experience using construction tools
  • Underground pipelaying experience is an asset
  • Mechanical piping experience is an asset
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting/weights
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
